Club update
State Interschools · Perisher
Update on the St Michael’s Snow Sports team following this week’s State Interschools Championships in Perisher.
Aashlee Konn and Charlotte Longley both competed in their respective disciplines across skiing and snowboarding and did a fantastic job representing St Michael’s.
- Charlotte — 21st in Ski Cross and 23rd in Alpine
- Aashlee — 11th in Snowboard GS and a phenomenal 6th in Snowboard Cross
Most excitingly, both Charlotte and Aashlee have qualified for the Australian Interschools Championships! 🎉
The Nationals will be held at Perisher from 2 September. Congratulations, Aashlee and Charlotte — an amazing achievement! ⛷️🏂🇦🇺

How to register your child
From 2026, parents/carers enter Interschools online. The school nominates a School Coordinator; you complete Snow ID, entries, payment and waivers.
-
1
Tell the school
Let the Snowsports coordinator (or school office) know your child wants to compete. Confirm who the School Coordinator is for Interschools entries.
-
2
Activate or renew Snow ID
Parents, carers and competitors need a current-year Snow ID via the Interschools site (not the old Snow Australia-only flow).

3
Wait for the school entry link
When entries open for a championship, the School Coordinator sends families the event registration link. You cannot enter without that link for most events.
-
4
Enter disciplines, pay & sign waivers
Parents submit the entry, choose disciplines, pay fees and complete required waivers in the portal.
-

Teams are formed by the coordinator
The School Coordinator views entries and allocates students into teams. You don’t need to build the school team list yourself.

Celebrate the season
Every start, every bib collection, every course inspection counts. Whether it’s a first Redlands Cup run, a regional podium, a State start list, or a trip to Australian Championships — the Snowsports community is built on participation, support and shared mountain days.
We celebrate effort as much as results: volunteers on the course, parents in the village, coaches and coordinators who make the week possible, and every athlete who races for their school.
Share photos and stories with the Snowsports coordinator so the wider school community can cheer along. Official results and live timing are published by race organisers during each event.
